Martin Named CCC Runner of the Week

LA GRANDE, Ore. - College of Idaho's Alex Martin was named Red Lion-Cascade Conference Runner of the Week, announced by the league information office.

The junior, from Bend, Ore., recorded a personal best time of 24:47 at Saturday's Warrior Invitational in California, finishing fourth overall among over 100 runners. Martin was the top Cascade Conference finisher and helped the Yotes to a second-place finish, narrowly missing an upset of No. 3 ranked Southern Oregon.

The Yotes take this weekend off in preparation for the CCC Championships on Nov. 3.
