POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State opened the game on a 21-2 run, as the Division I Bengals cruised to an 89-32 victory over the College of Idaho before 1,365 early morning fans on Education Day at Reed Gym.

Dora Goles led five ISU (2-0) players in double-figures with 15 points, as the Bengals converted 9-of-16 3-point attempts in the victory against their NAIA counterparts.
The Lady Yotes (0-3) got as close as 5-2 early in the first quarter before the Bengals ran off 16-straight points over the next seven minutes. ISU scored 16 of the first 19 points in the second quarter to build a 29 point lead, with the Bengals easing to the victory.
Alyssa Case led C of I with 11 points and three steals, with
Madison Holly scoring nine points and a team-high six rebounds. The Yotes made just 23-percent of their field goal attempts and did not attempt a free throw in the contest that started at 11:05 a.m.
Brooke Blair finished with 14 points for ISU, with Irene Vicente scoring 13 points, with 14 rebounds, six assists and six steals. ISU had a 50-20 edge in total rebounds and forced 20 turnovers.
C of I returns to action on Saturday, hosting the University of Providence at 3 p.m.
