Brittany Houghton logged her second-straight shutout, turning away five shots on goal by the Beacons (1-9, 1-7 CCC) – extending her school records for wins and shutouts.
Woods took a corner from the far left corner of the pitch, bending the right-footed ball past NCU keeper Makenna Hadaller for the winner.
The Lady Yotes won despite NCU holding an 8-6 edge in shots, while C of I had a 5-3 edge in corners.
C of I closes out their four match road trip tomorrow with a night game at Corban.
