PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Weathering a two hour lightning delay, the College of Idaho used a second half goal from newcomer
Carter Perry to claim a 1-0 victory over Embry-Riddle in the season opener for both sides.
Perry volleyed home a cross from
Joseph Lopeyok in the 58 minute, beating ERAU (0-1) keeper Jake Hutto from just inside the box for the lone goal of the match.

Grant Billings was the difference, making five saves to earn the clean sheat.
The Yotes held a 15-12 edge in total shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Coyotes have an off day on Friday in preparation for a Saturday morning matchup at Arizona Christian.
