HELENA, Mont. - Jordan Pfau scored 17 points as Carroll College went wire-to-wire, as the Saints rolled to an 83-57 victory over The College of Idaho inside the Carroll PE Center.
The Saints (2-0) made 11-of-24 three-point baskets in the victory - including a pair of triples from Kalee Junkermeier in a 12-4 run to open the game.
Leading 12-6, Carroll broke the game wide open - getting two baskets each from Jordan Johnston and Allison Sullivan, along with a Pfau trey, part of a 23-4 run, giving the Saints a 35-10 lead with eight minutes remaining in the half. CC used a 12-1 run early in the second half to put the game away.
Katie Estey had 14 points and Junkermeier had 11 in the victory for the Saints.
Chakala Carthen led the Lady Yotes (0-2) with 20 points, with Erica Martinez scoring 10 and Dayna Drager adding nine in the loss.
C of I returns to action next weekend in Salt Lake City, meeting Westminster and Montana Tech.
