LA GRANDE, Ore. – Jordan O'Byrne and Antonio Garrett each scored 19 points, as The College of Idaho hit 59-percent of their field goal attempts, rolling to a 99-73 victory over Carroll College at the Quinn Classic.

O'Byrne hit back-to-back three's and Joe Vaz added a trio of baskets in the paint, part of a 12-0 run that broke a 14-14 tie midway through the first half. The Saints (0-2) got within 29-20 on a Franco Da Silveria free throw, but Garrett scored seven points in a 10-0 run to get the lead to 19.

Carroll trimmed the Coyotes (2-2) lead to 46-35 early in the second half, but a three-point play by O'Byrne and a Taylor Pruett three-pointer fueled a 12-1 run that put the game away, as C of I led by as many as 30 points in the win.

O'Byrne was 7-of-11 from the floor and added seven assists, with Garrett converting 9-of-11 field goals and adding seven rebounds. Vaz came off the bench to score 14 points and eight rebounds – adding three blocked shots, with Pruett and Zach Peterson each scoring 11.

The Saints were paced by Jake Hollifield, who scored 14 points, with both Chris McGrath and Zach Taylor scoring 13. Carroll made just 37-percent of their field goal tries and lost the battle of the boards, 40-34.

C of I returns to action on Tuesday, hosting rival Northwest Nazarene in the United Heritage Insurance Mayors' Cup at 7 p.m.
