CALDWELL, Idaho - Jordan Farr recorded his fifth-straight shutout in goal for Corban University, as the Warriors remained unbeaten with a 1-0 victory over The College of Idaho at Simplot Stadium.
After a scoreless first half, the Warriors (7-0-1, 4-0-1 CCC) tallied the lone goal of the match in the 49th minute, as Eliseo Santana played a diagonal through-ball to the right corner of the box. Josh Hamilton made one touch and drove a low shot past a diving Colin Benham-Marin into the left corner of the net for the game-winner.
The Yotes (1-8, 1-4) had a chance in the 73rd minute, as Joe Bolin got a long ball and cracked a shot as Farr came off his line, but corralled the shot for one of his two saves on the afternoon.
Corban had an 11-8 edge in total shots and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks - as the two teams combined for just five shots on goal on the afternoon.
The C of I returns to action on Saturday, hosting Evergreen at 1 p.m.
