Corban would rally late in the half, using a 13-3 run – including a pair of Katherine Salness three-point plays, to tie the score at 35-35, but the Yotes would take a 39-35 lead to the locker room.
A Shannon three-pointer early in the second half gave the Lady Yotes a 46-37 lead, with a Geis jumper with just over five minutes left giving the visitors a 61-54 edge. Corban rattled off nine-straight points, including a Tess Bennett runner that gave the Warriors their first lead of the night at 63-61 – and had a chance to win inside the final minute, but Bennett missed two free throws with the score deadlocked, sending the game to overtime.
