CALDWELL, Idaho - Four players scored in double figures, leading The College of Idaho to a fast-paced 85-73 victory over Southern Oregon, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The win for the No. 20 ranked Lady Yotes (12-6, 8-2 CCC) was their 11th in a row against their Cascade Conference rival and improved their record to 12-0 this season when scoring at least 68 points in a game.
The Yotes sprinted out of the gates, as
Dayna Drager and
Katelin Shannon each had two baskets in a 10-2 run over the first three minutes. However, the Raiders (15-6, 5-5), the top scoring team in the CCC, responded with a 12-3 run, capped by a Melissa Sweat lay-up to take a 14-13 lead. Trailing 15-14,
Felicity Jones canned a trey - starting an 8-0 run that would give the hosts the lead for good.
Leading 46-40 at the break, the Yotes extended the lead midway through the period, as three consecutive Jones lay-ups keyed an 8-0 run that pushed the lead to 66-48. A
Kylie Hardison elbow jumper gave The C of I their largest lead of the night at 72-52 with eight minutes to go, with the Lady Yotes keeping the lead in double figures the rest of the way.
Jones continued her scoring binge, scoring 23 points - her third-straight game with 20-plus points. Drager had a season-high 18 points, with
Chakala Carthen adding 17, and Shannon tallying 11 points.
Laura Geis had six points and 11 rebounds - her 11th double-digit rebound game of the year. The Yotes hit 48-percent of their field goal attempts, and won despite losing the battle on the glass to SOU, 50-45.
Alexi Smith had a monster game in a losing effort for Southern, scoring 16 points and adding 15 rebounds, with freshman Carly Meister coming off the bench for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Sweat, SOU's leading scorer, was held to 13 points on 6-of-20 shooting, as the Raiders made just 36-percent of their field goal attempts.
The C of I returns to action tomorrow night, hosting Oregon Tech at 5:30 p.m.
