SALEM, Ore. - A goal scored in the first 30 seconds of the game gave Corban University the edge they needed, as the Warriors upended The College of Idaho, 3-1, in Cascade Conference men's action at Warrior Field.

Off the kickoff, the Warriors (4-3-3, 3-2-1 CCC) Derek Chaney played a ball over the Coyote defense, finding Juan Castillo, who flicked the ball into the net just 28 seconds into the contest.
The hosts would make it 2-0 in the 29th minute, as the Yotes (1-6-2, 1-4) were whistled for a hand ball in the box, with Castillo converted the resulting penalty kick. The Warriors would make it 3-0 in the 70th minute, as Mitchell Graham played a long ball over the Coyote defense to the streaking Tyler Hagen, who converted the 1-on-1 opportunity.
The Yotes averted the shutout with just under 10 minutes to play, as Joseph Bolin cracked a 25-yard shot that bounced over Corban keeper Stephen Mason and into the net for his third goal of the season.
Corban held a 21-7 edge in total shots and a 5-2 edge in corners.
