CALDWELL, Idaho - Both Miguel Rodriguez and Sydney Donaldson had career-high scoring nights, as The College of Idaho evened up their Cascade Conference record with an 81-67 victory over The Evergreen State College, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Coyotes (7-8, 3-3 CCC) sit alone in fifth-place in the league standings - but just two games out of first-place through the first three weekends of the conference season. The C of I made 51-percent of their field goal attempts in the victory, while committing just nine turnovers for the second-straight night.
Donaldson had five points in a 7-0 run to open the game, but the Geoducks (2-11, 1-4) rallied, taking their first lead at 21-20 on a Elzie Dickens lay-up midway through the half. Back-to-back three-pointers from Duncan Koga and Taylor Pruett gave the Yotes a 30-25 lead, with Rodriguez scoring the final four C of I points of the half as the hosts led 39-36 at the break.
K.J. Hong hit a trio of free throws with 16 minutes to play, getting the Geoducks within 45-42, but four points from Donaldson and an emphatic transition dunk from Rodney Delgardo fueled a 9-0 run to get the lead to double-figures, as the Yotes won their fifth straight against Evergreen.
Donaldson had 21 points and five steals in the win, with Rodriguez scoring 19 points and six assists, and Pruett logging 13 points and a career-high 15 boards.
Hong and Travis Wagner each led Evergreen with 12 points, with Marc Taylor recording 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
The C of I returns to action on Friday night, traveling to Salt Lake City for an exhbition game vs. the Universtiy of Utah.
