CALDWELL, Idaho - Felicity Jones had 19 points and nine rebounds, leading The College of Idaho to their 12th-straight home Cascade Conference win, stopping Northwest University, 77-59, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.
Box Score
The Lady Yotes (8-5, 4-1 CCC), who have not lost a home CCC game since the 2010-11 season, rallied from a six-point first half deficit to win their second straight game.
Northwest (2-9, 1-3) kept pace early on, as Corrine Burke hit a three and Domi Mendezona converted a running floater to cap a 9-2 run to give the Eagles a 27-21 lead with just over 10 minutes remaining in the period. However, the Yotes would counter, as two straight Jones baskets capped a 10-0 run to give The C of I the lead for good, ballooning the lead to 42-32 at the break.
Two Ashley Coila jumpers and a three from Alyssa Dario helped NU close the gap to 44-41 with 17 minutes to play, but an elbow jumper and a long three from Dayna Drager jumpstarted a 14-0 run that put the game away.
Drager had 14 points and five rebounds in the win, with Laura Geis adding 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Dario had a career-high 19 points in the loss for NU, with Sanda Milovic adding 16.
The Lady Yotes close out the 2012 portion of their schedule tomorrow night, hosting Evergreen at 5:30 p.m.
