CALDWELL, Idaho - Drew Smith scored his first goal of the season in the 61st minute, lifting The College of Idaho to a 1-0 victory over Oregon Tech on Senior Day at Simplot Stadium.

Smith collected a loose ball just inside the center line and outran a pair of OIT (1-16-1, 1-13) defenders down the left set, sending a 15-yard left-footed rope into the upper corner of the net.
The opening 45 minutes was pretty even, with Tech having a pair of scoring opportunities - as a free kick from Grant Alexander from just outside the 18 clanged off the top of the crossbar in the 17th minute, while Rey Chavolla collected a through-ball in the 26th minute but the ball was cleared by Zach Theiler just inside the six-yard box.
The C of I dominated the second half, recording an 11-1 edge in total shots - finally breaking through on the Smith strike.
Colin Benham-Marin needed to make just one save to notch his first-career shutout.
