CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho completed their men's basketball schedule today, adding an exhibition game at the University of Montana.
COMPLETE 2018-19 SCHEDULE
The match-up between the Yotes and Grizzlies will take place at Dahlberg Arena in Missoula on Dec. 3, with a tip-off time yet to be determined.
It marks the first time the two teams have met since 1981, when Montana defeated the Coyotes, 84-59 in Marty Holly's first season as C of I's coach. The teams also met during the 1949-50 season, with the Griz earning a 72-59 victory.
The Yotes will play two games against a Division I opponent for the second-straight season, as C of I will travel in November to the University of Utah. Last season, the Coyotes played exhibition games against Boise State and Gonzaga. During the 2003-04 season, the Coyotes played three games - all counters - against Division I teams, losing games at Boise State, Weber State and Nevada.
C of I opens the 2018-19 season on Oct. 12 at the Quinn Classic in La Grande.
