Men's Basketball Announces 2018-19 6th-Man Club

CALDWELL, Idaho – College of Idaho men's basketball coach Colby Blaine announced the 6th-Man Club fundraising campaign for the 2018-19 season.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE 6TH-MAN CLUB

Depending on the gift level, members of the 6th-Man Club have the opportunity to take part in pre-game "Chalk Talks" by the coaching staff prior to every home game; have a chance to be a Guest Coach – sitting on the bench with the team during a game and joining the Yotes in the locker room during pregame and halftime speeches – along with receiving invitations to all practices, signed memorabilia and special merchandise.

All 6th-Man Club donations are used to help cover expenses during the season such as scholarships, travel, meals and equipment.

"The 6th-Man Club is a vital part of our program," said Blaine. "In order to compete at the highest level of the NAIA, there are certain needs within our program we can only attain through fundraising. Their contributions to our program have directly affected our student-athletes in a positive way both on and off the court.

With the Yotes having their earliest start to the season in program history (Oct. 12-13) – the funding of the 6th-Man Club is crucial.

"The 6th-Man Club has been the backbone of our success over the last five years, providing us the resources we need to graduate our student-athletes and compete for conference and national championships," Blaine said. "These donations go directly to helping us fund our day-to-day operations while also providing our players with experiences that will help them grow both physically and mentally. With that growth, we have seen firsthand the positive impact our players are able to make within the college, community and around the entire country. I want to personally say, 'Thank You,' to our extremely loyal fan base that has supported us for many years. I am also excited about the addition of new members to the club and hope that everyone will consider joining. Together, we can make this season special!"
