CALDWELL, Idaho - A total of 13 student-athletes were honored by their respective organizations as Scholar-Athletes for the winter sports season.
Eight members of the C of I ski program were named USCSA Scholar-Athletes -
Elyse Burandt,
Emily Gahn,
Beth Mixon and
Mary Totten were honored for the Lady Yotes, while Coyotes
Brady Nilsson,
Trevor Trimble,
Lucas Underkoffler and
Arnav Virmani were selected.
Five C of I athletes were named to the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete team - as Matthew Duniphan and
Gibson Berryhill were honored from the men's basketball program;
Alyssa Case was honored from the women's basketball program; and
Kaelah Bakner and
Maddy Kelly were honored from the women's swim program.
A total of 34 student-athletes have been honored by their respective organizations as national scholar-athletes so far in 2017-18.
