Aziz Leeks was named Red Lion-Cascade Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league information office.
The senior, from Las Vegas, Nev., averaged a double-double in the Coyotes three games, helping the team to a 2-1 record, including a win over NAIA Division I No. 24 ranked Lewis-Clark State. Leeks averaged 13.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, making 16-of-29 field goal attempts, adding three assists and three blocked shots.
Leeks leads the CCC with four double-doubles this season - tying a career-high with 13 rebounds in Friday's win over Lewis-Clark State.
The Yotes close out a three-game home stand tomorrow, hosting Northwest Nazarene in the United Heritage Insurance Mayors' Cup match-up, with tip-off set for 7:05 p.m.
