DALLAS, Texas - Six College of Idaho football players where selected to the 2017 College Division Academic All-District 4 team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
The players were among those honored for both their work on the field and in the classroom – two of 24 selections from all NAIA schools in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Washington, along with all Canadian institutions. They will move on to the final ballot of the prestigious Academic All-America team, which will be selected next month.
Four Coyotes were honored for a third time by CoSIDA - running back
Zach Garzoli, linebacker
Troy Carr and defensive backs
Nate Moore and
Hunter Temple. Also earning All-District honors were defensive lineman
Josh Price, along with tight end
Tyler Reay - who was selected as the special teams member of the squad.
