LA GRANDE, Ore. - Coming off a trip to the Cascade Conference Tournament semifinals, the College of Idaho was picked to finish seventh in the 2017-18 CCC Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll, released by the league office.
Coming off a 12-8 record in league play, the Lady Yotes received 54 voter points from the 11 coaches. C of I returns just one starter (
Alyssa Case) from last season's team, but has brought in nine recruits looking to make noise in the CCC.
Eastern Oregon received nine first-place votes and 118 total points to earn the top spot, followed by Southern Oregon (105), Northwest Christian (94), Oregon Tech (90) and Northwest (74).
C of I opens the 2017-18 season on Nov. 1 with an exhibition game at Northwest Nazarene.
