AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Reagan Rossi started at The College in 1995 as an assistant on the Women's Basketball coaching staff when the College reinstated the women’s basketball program. She went on to pursue other coaching opportunities and returned to the College in 2001 as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. During her time as the head coach she also assumed the role of Title IX Coordinator, which she held for 11 years. She served as the Associate AD for three years while coaching before moving into that position full time in 2014. In 2016, Rossi was promoted to Athletic Director, taking the reins from long time AD Marty Holly. In 2021, she was promoted to Vice President of Athletics. Rossi is very active in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the NAIA and with NACDA serving on several boards and committees. She has been named CCC Athletic Director of the year five times, the NAIA Athletics Director the Year in 2022 and NACDA Cushman & Wakefield Athletic Director of the Year in 2022-2023.
In the summer of 2024, Rossi oversaw major facility upgrades to Simplot Stadium, Wolfe Field, Symms softball field, Elgin Baylor Arena as well as the JA Albertson Activity Center swimming pool. The Christensen/Buffington Hitting Facility also saw completion in the spring of 2024.
AS ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR: Handled day-to-day budgeting, facility scheduling, compliance, and Title IX needs; while serving as a board member for Destination Caldwell; she also was a driving force in the current Go Purple initiative.
AS HEAD COACH: Rossi compiled a 244-153 career record and is the all-time leader in wins for the women's basketball program, recording 13 consecutive appearances in the Cascade Conference Tournament, two CCC regular-season titles, five-consecutive NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances from 2009-13, and the 2010 and 2012 CCC Tournament titles. In 2008-09, Rossi led the Coyotes to a school record 29-5 season, sharing their first CCC title since 2001 - earning a berth to the NAIA Division II National Tournament. The team set a new school record with 21 consecutive wins, highest scoring average, and defeated Weber State for their first-ever NCAA Division I victory. Rossi coached two second-team All-Americans and three third-team All-Americans, while 20 of her recruits earned NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
PRIOR TO C OF I: Rossi has an extensive background in coaching - having been an assistant coach at both Georgetown (Ky.) and Morehead State (Ky.), while serving as an assistant coach with the Skagway High School boys' varsity team in Skagway, Alaska.
PERSONAL: A native of Mukwonago, Wis., Rossi is a 1994 graduate of Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, where she played four years of basketball for the Queen Bees. She received her Master's in Sports Administration at Morehead State in 2000. In 2006, she was inducted into the Mukwonago High School Hall of Fame. Rossi and her husband, Rudy, live in Caldwell with their twin daughters, Maggie and Darby.
