AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Reagan Rossi began her career at The College in 1995 as an assistant women’s basketball coach and returned in 2001 as head coach, later serving 11 years as Title IX Coordinator. She transitioned into administration in 2014, was named Athletic Director in 2016 and promoted to Vice President of Athletics in 2021.
Rossi has led the Yotes to sustained success across competition, academics and facilities, including four national championships, a Cascade Collegiate Conference All-Sports title (2023-24) and continued growth to more than 560 student-athletes. She also has overseen major facility upgrades and record fundraising.
A national leader in collegiate athletics, Rossi has served as the NAIA representative on the NACDA Executive Committee and as president of the NAIA Athletics Directors Association. She currently serves on the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Tournament Selection Committee, the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team Selection Committee, the NAIA National Administrative Council, the NAIA Ethics and Conduct Committee and the NAIA Path Forward Task Force.
In 2025, she was named third vice president of NACDA, becoming the first NAIA administrator and just the third non-NCAA Division I administrator in the organization’s more than 60-year history to be selected to the officer rotation, positioning her to progress through NACDA’s leadership structure and help guide the national direction of collegiate athletics administration.
Rossi is a five-time CCC Athletic Director of the Year and a two-time NACDA Athletics Director of the Year (2022-23, 2025-26), also earning NAIA Athletic Director of the Year honors in 2022.
AS ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR: Handled day-to-day budgeting, facility scheduling, compliance, and Title IX needs; while serving as a board member for Destination Caldwell; she also was a driving force in the current Go Purple initiative.
AS HEAD COACH: Rossi compiled a 244-153 career record and is the all-time leader in wins for the women's basketball program, recording 13 consecutive appearances in the Cascade Conference Tournament, two CCC regular-season titles, five-consecutive NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances from 2009-13, and the 2010 and 2012 CCC Tournament titles. In 2008-09, Rossi led the Coyotes to a school record 29-5 season, sharing their first CCC title since 2001 - earning a berth to the NAIA Division II National Tournament. The team set a new school record with 21 consecutive wins, highest scoring average, and defeated Weber State for their first-ever NCAA Division I victory. Rossi coached two second-team All-Americans and three third-team All-Americans, while 20 of her recruits earned NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
PRIOR TO C OF I: Rossi has an extensive background in coaching - having been an assistant coach at both Georgetown (Ky.) and Morehead State (Ky.), while serving as an assistant coach with the Skagway High School boys' varsity team in Skagway, Alaska.
PERSONAL: A native of Mukwonago, Wis., Rossi is a 1994 graduate of Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, where she played four years of basketball for the Queen Bees. She received her Master's in Sports Administration at Morehead State in 2000. In 2006, she was inducted into the Mukwonago High School Hall of Fame. Rossi and her husband, Rudy, live in Caldwell with their twin daughters, Maggie and Darby.
