At College of Idaho: Hurd joined the Yotes Track & Field Staff in Fall of 2023.
Prior to C of I: Hurd ran at the College of Idaho along side Head Coach Dominic Bolin. She held 8 school records at the end of her career: 60m hurdles, long jump, DMR indoors, 400m hurdles, long jump and was apart of the then record breaking 4x100m and 4x400m relay times. During her time as a Yote athlete, she was a four-time conference champion in thee 100m hurdles, 2013 conference champion in both the 400m hurdles and heptathlon. She was crowned a national champion running on the winning team apart of the distance medley relay during both the 2013 and 2014 NAIA Indoor National Championships. Hurd’s performances earned her three All-American nods. Her high school coaching career began at Rocky Mountain HS. She coached hurdles for the school in 2021 and 2022 and was named 2022 Coach of the Year at Rocky Mountain High School
Personal: Idaho girl through and through, loves being outdoors with my two dogs; Dory and Murphy a German shepherd and golden doodle. Now competing in bodybuilding; placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th in two shows in my first season.
