AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Riggs started as an assistant coach with the Coyote volleyball program in 2008. He was honored in 2015 as the AVCA West Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

BEFORE C OF I: Riggs came to the College in 2008 from Columbia High in Nampa, where he was an assistant coach, and from the Boise River Volleyball Club, where he coached the 18’s National Team.

PERSONAL: A native of Baker City, Ore., native played club volleyball at Boise State, while serving as a student-assistant for the BSU women’s volleyball team from 2003-05. Riggs received a physical education degree at BSU and is currently in his seventh year as a PE teacher at Ronald Reagan Elementary in Nampa.
