AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Terry joined the staff for the 2023 season as an assistant coach for the College of Idaho track and field programs with an emphasis on the throws. He has mentored four All-Conference athletes and four athletes to compete at nationals in his time as a coach at The College of Idaho.
AT C OF I: Was a four-year track and field teams...as a senior, he was 25th in the nation at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the discus (138-9 / 42.30)...won the shot put (51-9.75 / 15.79m) and the discus (156-2/47.61m) at the 2022 CCC Championships...on the indoor circuit, he was 20th in the weight throw (54-7.5 / 16.65m) and 24th in the shot put (49-11 3/4 / 15.23m) at the 2022 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships....21st as a junior at the 2021 Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a heave of 51-3 3/4 (15.64m) in the shot put....also during his junior campaign, he won the hammer throw (185-1 / 56.41m), discus (156-2 / 47.61m) and was second in the shot put (51-2 1/4 /15.60m) at the 2021 CCC Outdoor Track & Field Championships...12th in the nation in the shot put at the 2020 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships with a toss of 51-1 1/2 (15.58m). Terry began his college career at Southwest Oregon CC where he was a 5x NWAC All Conference Award recipient in shot put, discuss and hammer. In 2019 he won the NWAC Male Athlete of the Year. His high school was capped with winning the 3A state title in shot put and discus in 2017
