Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Torres is in her fourth season with the Coyote swim program.

2018-19: Recorded seasonal-best times of 1:11.54 in the 100-yard breaststroke, 2:35.05 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 2:20.30 in the 200-yard IM.

2017-18: Used the season as a redshirt year.

2016-17: Qualified for the NAIA Championships in the 100 and 200-breaststroke and the 400-IM, placed seventh in the consolation final of both the 200-breast (2:28.44) and 400-IM (4:49.49); also swam a leg on the record-setting 400-medley relay. 

2015-16: Competed nationally at the NAIA Championships in the 200-medley relay and 400-medley relay; placed 15th in the 400-IM (4:48.52), 22nd in the 200-IM (2:07.53), 24th in the 200-backstroke (2:16.66) to help the Yotes finish 7th overall. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Henley High, where she qualified all four years for the Oregon 4A Swim Championships, placing fifth in her senior year in the 200-yard IM (2:19.88); had a top prep time of 1:02.53 in the 100-yard butterfly.

PERSONAL: Studying biology; daughter of Dr. Richard and Terri Torres.
