Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Thompson is in her fifth year with the Lady Yote soccer program.

2017: Returned to action midseason, making 10 appearances, including two starts; took eight shots, five on frame...named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team and earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.

2016: Used a medical redshirt after an injury during preseason training; named a CCC All-Academic Team and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

2015: Played in all 18 games as one of the squad's primary strikers, starting 15 matches; recorded five goals and two assists, including a pair of game-winning goals; recorded a hat-trick in the 3-1 victory over Trinity Lutheran, while adding key goals in games against Rocky Mountain and Warner Pacific; took 34 shots on the year, 15 on frame; also named to the CCC All-Academic and CoSIDA College Division Academic All-District 4 teams.

2014: Saw action in 10 matches as a freshman, including five starts; took seven shots during the season, including four on frame; played a season-best 82 minutes in an overtime contest vs. Southern Oregon.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Centennial High, where she was an All-Southern Idaho Conference selection as a senior, leading her team to a runner-up finish at the 5A state championships.

PERSONAL: Studying biology and looking to pursue a career as a Physician's Assistant; daughter of Scott and Katie Thompson.
