At the College of Idaho: Porter joined the Coyote Women's program in February 2022. He serves as the goal keeper coach and recruiting coordinator.

Prior to C of I: Ryan started coaching at Caldwell High School before moving to Seattle to attend college.  Upon his return to Idaho, he coached local club soccer and served as the club president for 10 years.  He currently holds a USSF "E" license and a United Soccer Coaches goalkeeping Level I Diploma. 

Personal: Ryan grew up in Caldwell and played soccer at CHS. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and a Master of Counseling Education degree from Boise State University. He currently works for the Idaho Supreme Court.  He and his wife have been married for 25 years and raising two teenage boys who both enjoy playing soccer.
