Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Mixon is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote alpine ski program.

2018: Earned All-NWCSC honors after placing third in the league individual standings; placed fourth or better in all seven qualifying events, including a second place finish at Mount Hood Meadows; took sixth in the slalom at the NWCSC Western Regional and placed 36th in the giant slalom at the USCSA National Championships; named to the USCSA Scholar-Athlete team.

2017: Earned All-NWCSC honors after placing second in the league individual standings, including six Top-3 finishes and a win at Mount Hood Meadows; placed tenth in the slalom at the USCSA Western Regionals, while logging a pair of Top-35 finishes at the USCSA National Championships; named a USCSA Scholar-Athlete.

2016: Earned All-NWCSC honors after placing seventh in the individual standings, recording a third-place finish at Mount Hood; placed 21st in the giant slalom at the USCSA Western Regionals; placed 50th in the slalom at the USCSA National Championships; placed 12th in the Skier-X at Nationals.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Hood River Valley High in Oregon; competed for the ski program for the Multnomah Athletic Club, where she was a regular in Northwest Cup and FIS Elite Series events.

HOME MOUNTAIN: Mount Hood Meadows

PERSONAL: Studying health and human performance; daughter of Tim and Judy Mixon.
