Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Oropeza is in her fourth season with the Coyote golf program.

2015-16: Played in all 20 rounds, earning All-Cascade Conference honors after finishing sixth in the league scoring race; led the team with an 85.2 stroke average, including a season-best 78 at the C of I Invitational and a third-place finish at the CCC Championships (82-82-164).

2014-15: Played in 10 tournaments (24 rounds) during her sophomore season, recording a team-best 84.0 stroke average; recorded two rounds in the 70s - a 78 at the Border War an a 79 at the NCU Invitational; had a season-best 54-hole score of 245 at the Corban Invitational.

2013-14: Played in 23 rounds as a freshman, recording an 89.3 stroke average; had a season-best round of 84 at the Northwest Nazarene Invitational and a season-best 54-hole score of 259 at the Oregon Tech Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Caldwell High, where she was a member of both the golf and volleyball teams; competed in the 4A state tournament as a junior and senior; named to the Southern Idaho Conference All-Academic Team; trains at Purple Sage Golf Course.

PERSONAL: Studying business; parents Elias and Cristina Oropeza.
