Biography

HIGH SCHOOL:  

Athletic: 2022 Varsity Volleyball MVP/Captain award, made All conference 2nd team. 

Academic: Made it to the regional championships as the 2nd pair for Santa Monica College Volleyball. 

PERSONAL:  

Joining the YoteFam from Bellevue, Idaho, Sophia was raised by Kristi and Raul Vandenberg. Aside from her efforts on the court, Sophia is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Communications. She chose the College of Idaho because “The community and opportunities the Yote family brings. I love the competitiveness atmosphere and support shown throughout the athletics. I supported my sister throughout her 4 years at C of I and it encouraged me to want to be a yote. I can't wait for these upcoming 2 years and develop new relationships and memories".
