Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Giesy is in her fourth season with the Coyote softball program.

2020: Appeared in three games, including two starts prior to the season ending early due to COVID-19; posted a 2-0 record with a 0.84 ERA over the course of 8.1 innings; held opponents to a .138 batting average; allowed just one hit in 4.1 innings in a win against Park-Gilbert; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2019: Made 10 appearances as a sophomore, including six starts; posted a 3-2 record with a 2.84 ERA in 32 innings; threw a complete game four-hitter in a 10-1 win at Benedictine Mesa; threw a seven inning complete game in a 4-2 win over Northwest; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2018: Made nine appearances as a true freshman, posting a 0-0 record with an 8.75 ERA, recording four walks and four strikeouts in 12 innings; tossed a season-best two and one-third innings in a win over Carroll College.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Ellensburg High in Washington, where she was an All-Central Washington Athletic Conference selection as a junior and senior; also played volleyball as a prep.
