HIGH SCHOOL: 

Athletic: 3x First team all league NEA, All state sophomore year, 2 year Team captain, 2nd and 7th place finishes at state.

Academic: Graduated with 3.97 GPA and high honor role, First team all academic for softball all 4 years

PERSONAL: 

Joining the Yote Fam from Spokane, Washington, Katie was raised by Matt and Ambre Sturm. Aside from her efforts on the diamond, Katie is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. She chose the College of Idaho because “they are a good academic school, and the softball program is very competitive.”
