Hannah McNerney makes the transition from the circle to the coaching staff in 2024.

In her career at College of Idaho from 2019-23, in the circle, McNerney made 128 appearances and posted a 65-25 record with a 2.43 ERA in 602 innings of work. McNerney struck out 380 batters and recorded 16 shutouts to go along with nine saves and 55 complete games. The nine saves, 97 starts and 128 appearances are the most in school history, the 65 career wins and 602 innings rank third, the 380 strikeouts and 16 shutouts are fourth, the 55 complete games are fifth and the career ERA of 2.43 is seventh. As a hitter, she recorded 40 hits with 12 extra-base hits and drove in 26 runs.

She was named first team all-Cascade Collegiate Conference in 2023 and second team in 2022. McNerney graduated in May 2022 with her bachelor's degree in exercise science and earned a certificate in sports administration in 2023. She is a graduate of Hood River Valley High School in Hood River, Oregon.
