AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Whitfield is in his fifth season as an assistant coach for the track and field program, working with the sprinters.

AS AN ATHLETE: Qualified for the Cascade Conference Track and Field Championships all four years, competing in the 100 and 200-meters, along with the 4x100-meter relay; played cornerback for the football program, finishing his career with 115 tackles and five interceptions; was a 3-time Cascade Conference All-Academic Team, a 3-time Frontier Conference All-Academic Team and 4-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team selection.

PERSONAL: The Mountain Home native is a 2017 graduate of the College with a degree in business.
