AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Colby is in his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Coyote swim program, while serving as the interim head coach from May-December 2018. In his first five years, he has helped both the men's and women's squads log record-setting finishes at the NAIA Championships.
 
PRIOR TO C OF I: From 1992-2016 Colby served as the head coach for the Bainbridge Island High School girls swim and dive program in Washington. During his tenure, his team won four State Championships and never placed lower than 7th at the 3A State Championships. Greg coached 23 individual state champions with 12 of those still on the all time top ten list in Washington High School swimming. He also coached 21 relay teams to state titles with seven of those times remaining on the all time top ten list including the fastest 200 Medley relay ever at the 3A classification. He has had four of his swimmers named "swimmers of the state meet" based on the NISCA power point tables, and was fortunate to be voted by his peers as WISCA Coach of the Year five times. He coached an Olympic Silver Medalist. 

PERSONAL: Colby swam for former C of I head coach, Jim Everett, as a member of the Boise YMCA swim team and is a member of the Boise YMCA Swimming Hall of Fame. He swam at University of Wisconsin as a scholarship athlete.
