Chris Carew is in his second year as an Assistant Men's and Women's Golf Coach at The College of Idaho.
As part of his duties as an Assistant Coach, Carew is involved in the practices for the team. In addition to helping improve golf swings and working on the mental side of the game as well as education on course management. He also is involved in the recruiting for team.
The 2019 graduate of The College of Idaho has also been involved with The First Tee of Idaho since 2015 and held multiple roles with the Idaho Golf Association since 2020.
As a student-athlete for the Yotes posted 13 top-10 finishes to go along with four tournament victories. Twice, he won the Oregon Tech Fall Invite; plus as a senior, he established a new C of I school record with his 8-under-par 64 in the opening round of the Oregon Tech Fall Invite.
His stroke average of 73.45 is the lowest in program history since 2001. Twice, he earned all-Cascade Collegiate Conference honors.
