AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Vincent began his role at C of I in August of 2021. During his time as the Adjunct Percussion Instructor, he has more than tripled the size of the percussion studio. Vincent’s students have held numerous performance and teaching roles throughout the Treasure Valley. Since 2021, percussion at C of I has become one of the most prominent instruments in the department of music.
BEFORE C OF I: Through years of performance and teaching, Vincent has become a trusted and impactful presence in the Northwest percussion scene. He established Idaho Percussion Academy in 2020 which has quickly become Idaho’s top private percussion studio. Since 2020, he has been the Percussion Director at Meridian High School in Meridian, Idaho. In addition, he has taught at Borah High School (Boise, ID), Mountain Home High School (Mountain Home, ID), Weiser High School (Weiser, ID), Emporia High School (Emporia, KS), Springfield High School (Springfield, OR), and South Eugene High School (Eugene, OR).
PERSONAL: Vincent lives in Meridian, ID with his wife, daughter, and 2 dogs. He is a native Idahoan, raised in Fruitland, ID and loves being a part of the community that helped raise him. In March of 2020, Vincent was elected President of the Idaho Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society. He proudly endorses Vic Firth drum sticks and mallets, Zildjian cymbals, Evans drum heads, Black Swamp Percussion, and Beetle Percussion.
