Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Sturtz is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote volleyball program.

2015: Had a banner junior season, recording career-highs with 302 kills and 88 blocks in 126 sets; had 11 matches with 10-or-more kills, including a career-high 16 kills at Southern Oregon; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2014: Saw action in 27 sets as a sophomore, recording 31 kills and 12 blocks; tied a career-high with eight kills and added a career-high five blocks in a win at Warner Pacific; named to the CCC All-Academic Team; was one of 12 recipients of the NAIA-Red Cross Leadership Program in Washington, D.C.

2013: Played in 28 sets during her freshman season, recording 25 kills and 10 blocks during the campaign; had a season-high eight kills against both Northwest Nazarene and Northwest Christian. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Emmett High, where she was an All-Southern Idaho Conference selection, helping her team to the 4A state tournament; led EHS in hitting percentage as a senior; played club volleyball for Club Idaho; also ran track - placing in the 4A state meet in the 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, and the 4x100-meter relay...
