Policies and Procedures

  • Alcohol is permissible ONLY in the designated tailgating area within the JAAAC Parking Lot and in the designated Rodeo Grounds area next to Simplot Stadium (Rodeo Grounds policies and procedures apply).
  • Only those of legal age (21) are allowed to consume alcohol.
  • Alcohol is only allowed in opaque plastic or paper cups.
  • No kegs or bulk containers of alcohol are permitted.

Conduct/Behavior

  • Anyone caught serving alcohol to minors will forfeit their tailgating pass non‐refundable) and lose tailgating privileges for the rest of the season.
  • Disorderly conduct, including public intoxication and uncivil behavior towards fans of the opposing team, will not be tolerated and is prohibited, and could result in revocation of tailgating privileges and game access.
  • Drinking games are not allowed.
  • Campus Safety and the Caldwell Police Department will be monitoring the tailgating area and the beer garden in the Rodeo Grounds to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment and to enforce College policies, local ordinances and state laws. The College is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Handicapped Accessibility

  • Handicapped accessible parking/tailgating spots are available upon request.
  • Handicapped accessible tailgating spots are limited and available on a first‐ come‐first‐served basis.
  • Please request a handicapped accessible tailgating spot at the time of purchase.

Hours

  • The tailgating parking lot will open five hours before the start of the game and close one hour after the finish of the game.
  • No overnight parking is allowed. 

Lot Safety

  • Throwing objects is not allowed.
  • Not permitted - open fire pits, wood or bon fires.  Propane fire pits are allowed.
  • Gas or charcoal barbeques are permitted, but may not be left unattended.
  • Charcoals may not be dumped in the parking lots, grass areas, or trash bins. Tailgaters are responsible for removing and properly disposing of charcoals.
  • No glass containers.
  • Do not use stakes in tree wells or other grass/dirt areas due to irrigation and electrical lines.

Parking

  • Additional parking may be available in designated C of I parking lots for a fee. Please ask a Staff Tailgate Attendant.

Permits and Pricing

  • No vehicle will be allowed in the tailgate area without a tailgating permit.

  • Permits will correspond to an assigned numbered space.  DO NOT stray into another space.
  • Only one vehicle per tailgating space is allowed.
  • Permit prices are as follows:
    • Small RV/Vehicle Season ‐ $125 (excludes tax and fees)
    • Large RV Season ‐ $250 (excludes tax and fees)
    • Small RV/Vehicle Single Game ‐ $35 (excludes tax and fees)
    • Large RV Single Game ‐ $60 (excludes tax and fees)
    • Car parking only, season - $20 (excludes tax and fees)
    • Car parking only (Single Game only) - $5 per game (excludes tax and fees)

Shuttles

  • Shuttles will no longer be operating on games days. If you need a shuttle between the JAAAC Parking Lot (Tailgate Area) and Simplot Stadium contact a Campus Safety person to help you at (208) 459-5151.

Smoking

  • The College of Idaho does not allow smoking (including e‐cigarettes) on any College property.

Solicitation

  • The College of Idaho does not permit soliciting of any kind including but not limited to political, religious, sales and promotions, collecting of contributions, vending (except for sales by Bon Appetit, the College’s licensed food vendor), or distribution of fliers or other promotional/advocacy material on campus property.  Doing so would forfeit your tailgating pass, non‐refundable) and lose tailgating privileges for the remainder of the season.
  • The College reserves the right to remove or have removed any signs or other displays deemed inappropriate to the tailgating or game environment.
  • No food or beverage can be sold or used for personal financial gain within the tailgating area.

Stadium Entry and Restricted Items

  • Re‐entry to the stadium requires your ticket stub and hand stamp.
  • All patrons are subject to a search. Refusal to be searched will result in non‐ admittance.
  • The following items are not permitted in the stadium:
    • Weapons
    • Alcohol
    • Umbrellas
    • Artificial noisemakers, e.g., blow horns, air horns, cowbells, drums, megaphone, etc.
    • Outside food and drink
    • Glass containers
    • Large bags, backpacks, baskets, coolers or any hard‐sided or wheeled bag
(Note: Items left at the entry gates will be discarded.)

Trash

  • Trash must be carried away or placed in designated trash containers (note: charcoals may not be dumped in the parking lots, grass areas, or trash bins; it is the responsibility of tailgaters to remove and properly dispose of charcoals).

Weapons

  • Firearms and other weapons are not permitted on College of Idaho property, including the Caldwell Event Center/Stadium.
