ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT C OF I:

Track and Field:

  • 1600m: 4:15.85 (4th at the state meet)
  • 800m: 1:58.43 (10th at the state meet)
  • 4x400m Relay: Contributed to the team that placed 6th in the district.

Cross Country:

  • 8k: 25:32 at the CCC Championships (2023).
  • 5k: 16:18 at the College of Idaho Invite (2023).
HIGH SCHOOL:
An exceptional athlete and scholar, Ryan earned recognition as a 2023 All-State 1600m competitor. At the state meet, he showcased his talent by finishing fourth in the mile with a time of 4:15.85 and securing 10th in the 800 with a personal best of 1:58.43. Additionally, he was a vital member of the 4x400 meter relay team that placed sixth in the district. In the classroom, Ryan excels as well, ranking in the top 1% of his graduating class and receiving Full Academic Honors. 

PERSONAL:
Joining the Yote Fam from Meridian, ID, Oclan was raised by Kevin Ryan and Tracey Auer. Aside from his efforts on the course, Oclan is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Political Economy. He chose The College of Idaho because "it gave me the opportunity to compete for a program that wanted to win as much as I do".
