Biography

HIGH SCHOOL:  

Athletic accomplishments: state competitor in basketball during senior year, 4x2 state champion, state competitor in high jump, triple jump, medley, and 4x4 

In the classroom: passed a CNA program 

PERSONAL:  

Joining the Yote Fam from Jerome, ID, Kota was raised by Amy and Dale York. Aside from her efforts on the track, Kota is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Marine Biology. She chose The College of Idaho because, “of how friendly and welcoming everyone was. I also really liked how it wasn't too far or too close to home. I really liked the community and how everyone is so welcoming on campus! I also really enjoy everyone on the track team!”
