Athletic: 1st Place National Champion 

Academic: 4 Year Academic Honor Roll and National Honor Society 

PERSONAL:  

Joining the YoteFam from Raised in Erie, Colorado (Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico), Jayla was raised by Yvonne Vila and Michael Orlando. Aside from her efforts on the court, Jayla is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Criminology. She chose the College of Idaho because “Everything lined up to exactly what I was looking for. Coach Mac was a huge deciding factor. I love the program she is building and the team culture that surrounds it. Academically they have a lot of support and the major I am looking to pursue. I knew I would love it when I couldn't find something I didn't like”.
