2023 cross country: CCC All-Conference, National appearance, part of the 2023 national academic team of the year for cross country 

HIGH SCHOOL:  

Athletic accomplishments: Female Athlete of the Year for c/o 2023 for MHHS, 6x Conference champion (800, 2x1600, 2x3200, xc 5000), 5x school record holder (Co-Ed 4x400, 800, 1600, 3200, xc 5000), 5x state medaler (3x cross country, 1600, 3200) across cross country and track and field. 

In the classroom: Unweighted GPA of 3.9, weighted of 4.2, honor roll, top 10 in class of 2023, part of student government all four years, involved in Spanish club for three years, a mental health club for one year. 

PERSONAL:  

Joining the Yote Fam from Mountain Home, Julia was raised by James Gilbert, Dani Gilbert, and Kelly Gilbert. Aside from her efforts on the track, Julia is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. She chose The College of Idaho because “I chose C of I because of the strong team culture, excellent coaching, and oustanding academics.”
