Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Clifford is in his third season with the Coyote swimming program.

2022-23: Posted top times of 4:48.47 in the 500-yard freestyle and 17:07.59 in the 1650-yard freestyle. Named to the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Swim & Dive Scholar-Athlete Team.

2020-21: Earned NAIA All-America honor as a national qualifier due to the NAIA Championships being cancelled due to COVID; had top times of 4:57.24 in the 500-yard freestyle, 16:53.34 in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 4:19.51 in the 400-yard IM.

2019-20: Qualified for the NAIA National Championships in three events, placing tenth with a school-record performance in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:10.21), while placing 21st in both the 400-yard IM (4:13.86) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:44.90); also established the school-record in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:41.28).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Renaissance High, but competed for the Meridian High swim team; had top times of 1:47.35 in the 200-yard freestyle, 4:48.48 in the 500-yard freestyle and 16:35.61 in the 1,650-yard freestyle.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Environmental Studies and Literature & Creative Writing
