Hurd is in her fourth season with the Coyotes...holds eight school records - 60-meter hurdles (9.09), long jump (17-3 1/4) and distance medley relay indoors, and 100-meter hurdles (14.48), 400-meter hurdles (1:02.11), long jump (17-5 1/4) and both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams outdoors...a three-time Cascade Conference champion in the 100-hurdles; winning both the 400-hurdles and the heptathlon during the 2013 season...won an NAIA national title as part of the record-setting distance medley and placed 12th in the heptathlon during the 2013 NAIA Indoor Championships...earned All-America honors during the 2013 NAIA Outdoor Championships in the 4x400-meter relay, placing sixth, while she qualified for the finals of the 400-hurdles...qualified for the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Championships in the 4x100-relay and the 400-hurdles - advancing to the semifinals...qualified for the NAIA Indoor Championships as a freshman and sophomore in the DMR...a 2010 graduate of Centennial High, where she competed in track and field… qualified for the 5A state meet in both hurdle events, advancing to the finals...personal best times in high school of 15.21 in the 100-hurdles and 45.85 in the 300-hurdles...studying business administration...parents Juan Hernandez and Tina Young-Hernandez, and is married to former Coyote track athlete, Mike Hurd.
