Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Fortune is in her fourth season with the Coyote softball program.

2020: Played in 16 games before the season was ended early due to COVID-19, hitting .212 with seven hits, an RBI and 11 stolen bases, including seven in the season-ending series with Northwest; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2019: Played in 24 games as a sophomore, hitting .179 with seven stolen bases and nine runs scored; had two stolen bases in a win over Willamette; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2018: Played in the first eight games of the season before an injury sidelined her for the remainder of the year; hit a combined 9-for-14 with five runs scored and three RBI, adding two stolen bases; went 5-for-7 with three RBI in a doubleheader vs. Arizona Christian.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of McLoughlin High in Oregon, where she helped her team to the 2015 4A state title; was a three-time Greater Oregon League and three-time 4A All-State selection, earning GOL Player of the Year honors in 2017; named to the GOL All-Academic Team in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
