Biography

COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Niemi is in her third season with the Coyote cross country and track teams.

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2013, ran a season best time of 23:11 at the Inland Empire Classic...in 2012 clocked a time of 23:25 at the Adidas Classic.

TRACK & FIELD: In 2014, had a season best time of 6:04 in the 1,500-meters...in 2013, ran both the 800 and 1,500-meter events.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent the 2011-12 academic year at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Bartlett High, where she competed in cross country and skiing.

PERSONAL: Studying exercise science...daughter of Mike and Suzanne Niemi.
