Biography

COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Getty is in her fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2013, ran a personal-best time of 18:54 at the Inland Empire Classic...in 2012, ran a season-best time of 19:59 at the Cascade/Frontier Challenge in Spokane...in 2011, competed in just one meet, clocking a 11:38 over a 3,000-meter course at Idaho State.

TRACK & FIELD: In 2014, scored points for the Lady Yotes at the Cascade Conference Championships with a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (12:05) and a seventh-place finish in the 5,000-meters (18:43)...qualified for the CCC Championships in 2012 in the 5,000 (18:59), while placing seventh in the steeplechase (18:59)...in 2012, recorded a season-best mark of 5:06 in the 1,500-meters.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Challis High, where she competed in both cross country and track…in cross country, placed 13th in the 1A-2A state meet as a senior..in track, placed second at the 1A state meet in the 3,200-meters (11:45) and fifth in the 1,600-meters (5:32).

PERSONAL: Studying health sciences…daughter of Bret Getty and Anita Julian.
