AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Nakamura is in her fourth season with the Coyote alpine program.

2015: Earned All-NWCSC honors after placing third in the individual conference standings, recording Top-10 finishes in all five qualifiers, including third-place finishes at both Mount Bachelor and Bogus Basin; placed tenth in the giant slalom and 17th in the slalom at the USCSA Western Regional Championships; placed 17th in the giant slalom at the USCSA National Championships; named to the USCSA All-America Scholar-Athlete team.

2014: Earned All-NWCSC honors after placing fifth in the individual conference standings; picked up her first collegiate individual victory, winning the Sunday giant slalom event at Mount Bachelor and placing second in the Sunday slalom event at 49-Degrees North; placed tenth overall in the USCSA Western Regional slalom.

2013: Had a banner freshman season, earning All-NWCSC honors; finished fifth overall in the NWCSC individual standings, recording five Top-5 finishes, including a third-place finish at the Brundage Mountain giant slalom qualifier; finished sixth in the giant slalom at the USCSA Western Regionals; finished 18th in the giant slalom and 17th in the alpine combined at the USCSA National Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Stratton Mountain School in Vermont, where she was a member of the ski program; finished tenth overall as a senior at the McGill Memorial; was the SMS Lisa Tuttle Award recipient.
