Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Porter is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote volleyball program.

2014: Earned second-team NAIA All-America, All-AVCA West Region, and All-Cascade Conference honors as a junior, leading the squad to the NAIA Championships; recorded 1,438 assists, 320 digs, 131 kills, and 65 blocks during the season; had 12 double-doubles and two 20-20 matches; tied a career-high with 64 assists against Cal State San Marcos in the NAIA Opening Round, while posting 58 assists and 21 digs in a five-set marathon vs. Eastern Oregon; had a career-high nine kills vs. Northwest.

2013: Named to the 2013 All-CCC team and was honored as an honorable mention NAIA All-American...played in 95 sets, recording 1,003 assists, 243 digs, 91 kills, and 48 blocks; had 12 double-doubles during the season; recorded a season-high 64 assists vs. Rocky Mountain in the NAIA National Championships, while recording 19 digs at Northwest Christian; had a career-high eight blocks vs. Northwest Nazarene.

2012: Had a banner freshman season, earning honorable mention All-CCC honors after recording 1,084 assists, 236 digs, 59 blocks, and 31 aces; her 10.04 assists per set average ranked second in the CCC; was named CCC Setter of the Week three times; recorded nine double-doubles, including a 50 assist-20 dig match vs. Texas-Brownsville at the NAIA Championships; had a season-high 57 assists vs. Southern Oregon.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Rocky Mountain High, where she was named the Idaho 5A Player of the Year as a senior; helped her team to the 5A state title in 2010; earned All-Southern Idaho Conference honors in 2009, 2010, and 2011; played club volleyball for the Rise Volleyball Academy, the Boise River Volleyball Club, and Idaho Stars Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Studying physical education; daughter of Darwin and Susan Porter; sister Janel was an All-CCC libero for the Lady Yotes.
