CALDWELL, Idaho — The College of Idaho women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Lewis-Clark State in Great Southwest Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors secured the doubles point, winning two of the three matches. Lewis-Clark State earned victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, while the Yotes picked up a strong performance at No. 2 as the pairing of Kinsey Lockhart and Lina Boylan earned a 6-4 win.
In singles play, Lewis-Clark State claimed all six matches to secure the conference victory. Boylan put together one of the most competitive efforts of the afternoon at the No. 1 position, pushing the second set before falling 6-2, 7-5.
The Yotes continued to battle throughout the lineup, competing at each position as the Warriors completed the sweep.
The College of Idaho will look to bounce back as conference play continues next weekend.
